The Nicotrol Inhaler: A Nicotine Inhaler That Stops Smoking

The "Stop Smoking" inhaler and asthma

A nicotine inhaler such as the Nicotrol inhaler may be of much more use to cure your asthma than you anything else you can do – if you're a smoker of course. While more and more information about asthma becomes common knowledge, there are still people who realize what smoking may do to their asthma, but nevertheless have a terrible time quitting. We all have our addictions, but few are more horrifying that frequent cigarette smoke in an asthmatic lung.

Most of smoking asthmatics think about quitting smoking by using Nicorette chewing gums or nicotine inhalers (or simply by refusing to smoke) because it is clear that it is smoking that really kills them. Still, it's not that easy to do.

Asthma=no smoking

The ove-rall negative effects of smoking are well-known. What is not as widely known, however, is the fact that cigarette smoke increases the sensitivity of lungs and airways,

making the asthma attack likely even when there isn't enough triggers (pollen, dander etc.) in the air to induce the attack in a non-smoker. Some researches indicate that the lungs' sensitivity is 10- or even 20-fold bigger for smokers than for non-smokers. This can literally create asthma where it didn't exist before!

The nicotrol inhaler:

Of course, the main problem is that people who are already sufferingr asthma are often not willing to further increase their stress level by quitting smoking. Fortunately, they can easily limit their hunger for a cigarette by using a stop smoking nicotine inhaler such as the Nicotrol inhaler. Such a device can easily (and quickly) provide enough nicotine for the organism without increasing the lungs' sensitivity.

Tips for using the inhaler:

1. Quit smoking as soon as possible. Remember, it will take at least a few weeks without a cigarette (while using the Nicotrol inhaler instead) for the changes to become visible. However when the change comes, it will be more than worth it. Sometimes notg smoking may cause asthma to cease to be a real problem at all!

2. Always have a stop smoking inhaler in your arm's reach – just the way you had cigarettes. This will make quitting smoking much easier and less stressful. Also, the chance of smoking a cigarette will be much lower.

3. Do not use a nicotine inhaler instead of a quick relief drug inhaler during the asthma attack! Keep them in two separate places (for example: one in a pocket, another in the bag) to avoid it.

All asthmatics should make it a #1 priority to stop smoking immediately and the Nicotrol inhaler is a wonderful tool in this admittedly tough task.
